Stumbled upon this unique jewelry designer, Julie Cohn, on Pinterest and can’t stop thinking about her. Trained as a painter and printmaker, Cohn worked for 30 years as an artist both in fine arts and in interior design in Dallas before deciding to launch her own jewelry line. Using old-world casting techniques, each piece is first carved in wax and then finished by hand by the designer herself. What I love most about the collection is how raw and primitive it feels, while also being modern and feminine. Yep, Cohn hits all the right notes when it comes to making jewelry for the girls.
