Biarritz once used to be the stomping ground of the cultural elite in the ’20s to ’50s. People of the likes of Hemingway and Coco Chanel used to vacation there, although before their time homes were built by Nalopleon III’s wife, Eugenie, and Queen Victoria during the 19th C. Now it is a more familial vacation spot and home to some serious surfing waves — I, myself, even once took a surfing lesson or two… anyways, this is a very simple, chilled out bungalow in what was once a very glamorous vacation destination — the dichotomy fascinates me.
Designed by owners Constance & Dorianm they took inspiration from the white houses in Greece and incorporated rattan accessories, light wood and sheepskins give the decor a Scandinavian look & feel.
