A taste of Bosnia in the heart of Lisbon.
Serbian-born Ljubomir Stanisic has been busy changing the face of Portuguese fine dining at his 100 Maneiras restaurant since 2009. The small, intimate interior is the product of a four-year long mission of renovations that caters to only 30 diners at a time. Not to be confused with its sister à la carte Bistro just a few streets away in Bairro Alto, the restaurant offers only two prix fixe menus, one shorter (€80) and other a little longer of 14 dishes (€110) with two options of wine pairings, regular €40 and premium €60.
Monk-like uniforms for the staff were designed by Mário Matos Ribeiro, founder of ModaLisboa and a University Fashion professor, using organic linens and minimalist lines that blend in seamlessly with the warm textures of the interior.

The tasting menu changes every few months, except for one signature dish, the “Codfish Clothesline” entree. Served with a coriander and red pepper dip, the dish is quintessentially Portuguese, taking a traditional ingredient – codfish – and presented in a modern way along with tastes and smells that come from the chef’s homeland of Bosnia.
While sitting on the long shared table, one couldn’t help but notice the immense attention to every detail. It really feels as though it was made of the flesh and bone of its passionate and talented team.
